 | Borinda yulongshanensis KR5913 (Demoly) A new introduction from the Yunnan. A white waxy culm that gives a blue colour to the culms. The nodes are pronounced with a dark ring. Striking upright form with a large weeping head. A large plant to about 4 metres tall. It is particularly striking with tiny leaves. It has endured winters of -9c here in Shropshire without any damage. A very graceful bamboo suitable for semi-shade.
