A very recently introduced bamboo that has proved itself so far as being well behaved whilst producing tall and thick culms with thin walls. Has stems that are a very striking powder blue when new.

 | Borinda macclureana
Borinda macclureana has lush green foliage, similar to B. albocera, B. papyrifera, and B. lushuiensis, but has proven to be more cold hardy than any of these. It produces tall culms, with a colouration varying from purple to grey.

Undoubtably the most exciting of the newly introduced Borindas. This non-invasive clumping bamboo has ice blue stems that reach large proportions in both height and girth.

A recent introduction from China. A clumping bamboo with long branches reaching a height of 5m+. The new growth has sheathes of light orange colour which gradually peel away to reveal gorgeous blue stems. Proven hardy through the winter of 2010/11.
