	Pleioblastus shibuyanus Tsuboi An ornamental compact , brightly variegated bamboo from Japan. The dark green leaves have broad bands of creamy-white lines, and possess an ability to always look fresh. Culms are fine and erect. Although vigorous in growth it can easily be trained to stay in a tight clump.
