	Sinobambusa tootsik Chinese Temple Bamboo Traditionally used for planting around temples in China and it has been used in Japan for more than a thousand years as an ornamental bamboo. The new culms emerge hairy, light green with a white powdery coating. There is a colour transition to deep rich green then slowly going to yellowish green then brown. Strong upright habit. Plant as a solitary specimen in an open position to see this bamboo at its best.
