An interesting bi-generic cross which apparently happened at Mount Hiba in Japan. It boasts the characteristics of the Sasa genera with large leaves and the height and slenderness of Phyllostachys genera. A classic plant to 'jungle up' your garden. Sensible grower forming a clump with stray growth easily controlled.
